About Frontier Family Health, LLC
Frontier Family Health was born from a lifelong dream of practicing medicine the way it was meant to be practiced: personally, thoughtfully, and with a deep commitment to the community being served.
I have been a nationally certified Physician Associate since 2009 and have spent my career caring for patients across a wide range of specialties, including family medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, pain management, and addiction medicine. Those experiences provided valuable clinical knowledge, but they also reinforced something I had long believed: the best healthcare happens when providers truly know their patients.
For many years, I dreamed of becoming the kind of "small-town doc"* who not only treats illnesses but also knows the people behind them—their families, their goals, their struggles, and their victories. The kind of provider who is invested in the well-being of the community both inside and outside the clinic walls.
In 2023, my family relocated to Basin, Wyoming, in search of a community where we could put down roots, raise our children, and live out our values. From the moment we arrived, Basin felt like home. Although we have not been here long, the people of the Big Horn Basin welcomed us with warmth, kindness, and a strong sense of community that has made a lasting impression on our family.
My time serving patients in the local clinic has allowed me to build relationships that I deeply treasure. Many of those relationships have grown beyond the traditional provider-patient interaction and have become one of the greatest blessings of practicing medicine in a small town. Those connections inspired the creation of Frontier Family Health.
Over the past eight years, my own health journey led me to explore functional, holistic, and lifestyle-based approaches to medicine after being diagnosed with an MTHFR gene mutation. That experience transformed the way I view healthcare. Today, my approach blends the best of evidence-based Western medicine with functional, holistic, nutritional, herbal, and lifestyle-focused therapies whenever appropriate.
I recognize that every patient is unique. Some patients desire a highly natural approach to achieving their health goals, while others prefer more traditional medical treatments. My philosophy is simple: meet patients where they are. Together, we develop a plan that reflects their goals, values, lifestyle, and willingness to make changes. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healthcare.
This commitment to individualized care is the foundation of Frontier Family Health. Every visit is designed to be more than a quick appointment. I take the time to listen, understand the whole person, and create personalized treatment plans that address both immediate concerns and long-term wellness.
Because this level of care requires time and attention, Frontier Family Health intentionally limits the number of patients accepted into the practice. By maintaining a smaller patient panel, I can provide the accessibility, responsiveness, and personalized care that patients deserve. While many healthcare practices serve thousands of patients, my goal is to build meaningful relationships with a select number of individuals and families throughout the Big Horn Basin.
I believe healthcare should be personal. Patients should feel heard, respected, and supported. My hope is that Frontier Family Health becomes a trusted partner in the health of our community for many years to come—caring for neighbors, strengthening families, and helping people achieve their best possible quality of life.
Thank you for allowing me the privilege of serving you and your family.
*The term “Doc” is used to indicate someone who provides health/medical care rather than indicating licensure or degree. I am not a doctor, MD, or DO. Rather, I am a Physician Associate.
